This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which customers and service providers may cancel confirmed bookings made through the AppleWebTask mobile app or website (https://applewebtask.co.uk).
AppleWebTask serves as a digital platform connecting customers with independent service professionals. All bookings are subject to this policy in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK consumer protection regulations.
Customers can cancel a booking directly through the app or by contacting support@applewebtask.com.
Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the scheduled service time qualify for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled time may incur up to 100 % of the booking charge, depending on the provider’s travel or preparation status.
If the customer is unavailable or unreachable when the provider arrives, the booking will be marked as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in temporary account restrictions or a requirement to pre-pay for future bookings.
Providers should cancel only in exceptional circumstances and must give as much notice as possible, ideally more than 2 hours before the appointment.
If a provider cancels, the customer will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule with another provider at no extra cost.
Frequent or last-minute cancellations by a provider may lead to account review, reduced visibility, or suspension from the AppleWebTask platform.
AppleWebTask recognises unavoidable situations such as illness, emergencies, or extreme weather.
In such cases:
Cancellations will be assessed individually;
Proof may be required (e.g., medical note or photo evidence);
Partial or full refunds may be approved at the discretion of AppleWebTask support.
Customers can cancel in one of the following ways:
Via App:
Go to My Bookings → Select Booking → Cancel.
Via Email:
Send details (name, booking ID, and reason) to support@applewebtask.com.
Via Support Chat:
Use the in-app help centre to submit a cancellation request.
All cancellations are time-stamped, and eligibility for refunds is calculated from the moment we receive your request.
AppleWebTask may deduct transaction or processing fees applied by payment gateways for cancellations made by the customer.
No additional fees are charged when the cancellation is initiated by a provider or AppleWebTask itself.
Neither the customer, provider, nor AppleWebTask shall be held responsible for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, transport strikes, or public emergencies.
In such cases, bookings can be rescheduled or refunded without penalty.
AppleWebTask may modify this Cancellation Policy at any time to reflect operational or legal changes.
The updated policy will be posted on our website and within the app.
Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of the revised version.
