This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for bookings made through the AppleWebTask app or website (https://applewebtask.co.uk).
AppleWebTask acts as a digital platform connecting customers with independent service providers. All payments and refunds are processed securely through our platform on behalf of those providers.
A refund may be issued under the following circumstances:
Cancellation by Customer (within permitted time):
If a customer cancels a confirmed booking at least 2 hours before the scheduled service time, they may be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellation by Provider:
If a provider cancels a booking, the customer will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
Service Not Delivered:
If the provider fails to attend or deliver the booked service, a full refund may be granted after investigation.
Unsatisfactory Service:
Partial refunds may be considered if the service quality was significantly below expected standards and verified through evidence (photos, chat records, etc.).
Refunds are not applicable in the following cases:
The customer provides an incorrect address or unavailable contact information.
The service was completed as described.
Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled service time (unless exceptional circumstances apply).
The customer refuses service upon provider arrival without valid reason.
Promotional, discounted, or “urgent request” bookings where stated as non-refundable.
Refund requests must be submitted via:
The AppleWebTask app (under “My Bookings”), or
Email: support@applewebtask.com (within 24 hours of the scheduled service time).
AppleWebTask will review the request within 3–5 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
You will be notified via email or app notification once your refund has been issued.
In some cases, AppleWebTask may deduct:
Transaction fees charged by payment processors.
Partial service costs if a provider already began travel or preparation before cancellation.
All such deductions will be transparently displayed in your refund confirmation.
If you are a service provider, refunds related to customer cancellations are automatically reflected in your AppleWebTask account balance. Providers are not authorized to issue cash refunds directly to customers.
AppleWebTask reserves the right to refuse or reverse a refund if evidence suggests:
Misuse of the platform,
Fraudulent claims, or
Repeated refund abuse by the customer or provider.
We may modify this Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and within the app. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
